Gloom and Doom or is this a new dawn? Yesterday was an eye opener after thinking of the direction I want to take in starting my new life being Independent. Firstly, yes- I have accepted where I'm at currently and will work harder to reach where I wanna be. A new place would be nice and also maturing, not saying I'm immature or anything; just that i'll be more cautious to life and things I do henceforth since it'll be all about me and my picture to the society, more like how the society I live in sees me as, which is good since if I'm an outgoing person, then opportunities will come my way.
Since this new month began, I have come to trust more in myself and the decisions I make in how I want my path to be. This has been motivational since I even now choose the kind of people I hang out with, If you walk with people with a purpose and vision, you will have a lot to live for unlike when you always walk with discouragers, well all I can say is that those days are done for me and its a new path. I have decided to follow the narrow way that leads to paradise rather than the broad way that leads to oblivion.
First of all, I need a roommate who will share with me a house since its very expensive to rent a house of my own with what I'm getting. I'm hoping ill get one soon, the earlier the better. Hmm, I think sharing a house will remind me of my renting days back in campus and my former house mate Steve. Steve was a great housemate although sometimes he always came home drunk, bam! I even remember this one time he almost vomitted on me, omg I was so mad at him, made me wanna grrr. Anyway, he was a player virgin, always knew how to talk to ladies but wouldn't dare touch them even when they gave in and slept with him all night, this was so shocking to know and it even made me question him a lot over his sexuality. I mean, what straight guy would go to bed with a sexy lady and not even touch her all night?? Okay, maybe he is a gentleman and I'm just over reacting, or maybe I'm right? what's your take? We even went swimming all weekends, starting Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons too at the Thiiri Sports Center in Meru, great sport too, I love swimming and especially floating on water was my best part of it. Darn I do miss those days and can't wait to get a new roommate and do all that all over again, only this time round I'm not in campus, I'm all grown up, independent and working to support myself and also hustling hard to try stand on my own two feet.., If not now, when? I don't wanna be one of those guys aged over 30 who are still living at their moms, no thats not me, so halloo freedom and goodbye comfort zones.
Got to get back to work now since Its nearly noon and my work for Radio Maisha is still back at 6am, darn.. Anyway I'm not to blame, c ya! and oh I almost forgot, my theme for this week is Courage.
