Oh My God, life has really taught me a lot of lessons, most of all never to trust anyone but God. Yes, I have gotten in touch with my spiritual side after an experience that made me realize how dangerous life can get if you put yourself out there. Well thing is, I'm done with meeting people via social networks. What started out as a normal correspondence online led to a hook up, that my guts told me was wrong from the very start but as daring as I am, I had to take it to the third phase so I blindly followed a total stranger home. Just as the fling started, not even ten minutes gone and a well built man walks in asking what I'm doing at his place late at night. How, What, When did you get in? That's what was running through my mind, and how is this place yours? But I couldn't say it out loud since i've never been so scared in my life like I was back then. He said he would take me to the cops nude-for intrusion: my host then told him not to do that and that we would instead pay him any amount of cash he wanted to set us free. Then bam! I realized it was all a set up to extort me cash, I was trapped. This reminded me of July, when a blind date stole my phone and left me with a huge restaurant bill, but this was far much more worse. The house owner, Johnson, said he wanted kshs 20,000 from me so that he could let me go, with a knife to my chest I had no option but to call my friends and family. They did save my life since after the money was sent via MPesa, he finally let me go. Johnson did blackmail me afterwards but I had already told my supervisor, friends and family of what had happened. The trauma really affected me and if it's not for my bff Sweetness, Mr.T, mom, my other bff Kikki, support from family and encouragement, I really would have done something stupid. This has been a lesson perfectly learnt and I have matured a lot from not meeting strangers i've no idea whom they are just for fun. Anyway, life is a bitch and isn't fair at all.
